New poll

So I's making bread for Thanksgiving and I wanted everyone's opinion on which breads I should make! I will NOT share my recipes unless you are a paying customer, haha!

Here are the options:

**My pound cake from below. It really is an easy bread, did not taste like pound cake and was delicious with a little butter.

**My famous banana bread (it's only 4 ingredients!)

My aunt gave me some easy recipes, these recipes were supplied by her! I cannot reveal!

**Cranberry bread

**Apricot bread

** Gingerbread.... bread (j/k)

** Pumpkin Harvest bread

OK, go now! Vote! Be gone! Please comment if you have anymore quick breads to add! Stop reading go vote!

More baking for me!

My mom and I made some little cakes this weekend. They seemed almost like bread, which was very nice, exactly what I was looking for. It made so many, I filled up my new mini pan and almost all of a full loaf!

I did over fill them a little, I wasn't sure how much they would rise. I should listen to my mom more, lol.

Vanilla Buttermilk Pound Cakes

(You can also prepare these cakes in two (8 x 4–inch) loaf pans. Bake at 350° for one hour or until done.)

Ingredients

  • 13.5 ounces all-purpose flour (about 3 cups)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/3 cups low-fat buttermilk
  • Cooking spray

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350°.

2. Weigh or lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups, and level with a knife. Combine flour and next 3 ingredients (through salt); stir with a whisk. Place sugar, butter, and vanilla in a large bowl; beat with a mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour mixture and buttermilk to sugar mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture.

3. Spoon batter into 5 (5 3/4 x 3 3/4–inch) loaf pans coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 minutes on a wire rack. Remove from pans. Cool completely on a wire rack.

Holy Crap! Presents!

So my wonderful aunt sent me something to bake with! She makes breads for the holidays and I would love to start! Here are the pictures! The mini loaves are made out of silicone, I'll let you know how they work! I actually have 7 people that I want to send cookies too, from the other weekend, mini loaves would be perfect to include in the package! Yay! Thank you!!
